Is this "hi-res" file genuine or upsampled from a CD? Was this CD rip done properly? What encoder and settings produced this MP3? These tools answer those questions — accurately, instantly, and without ever uploading your files.

Your music is yours. Every tool here processes the file entirely on your own device using the browser's built-in audio and file APIs, so nothing is sent to a server, stored, or logged. That also means they work offline once loaded, and there are no file-size limits imposed by an upload.

How They Fit Together

  • Suspect a fake lossless file? Start with the Spectrogram Analyzer to look for a tell-tale lowpass cutoff, then use the MP3 Encoder Detector on the suspected source.
